Since its founding in 1969, Parodi & Parodi has specialized in manufacturing discs for floor cleaning and maintenance.
From our experience, we’ve learned that marble, to maintain its original shine over time, requires special care. That’s why we’ve created a range of steel wool and stainless steel wool discs suited for medium and high-speed operation and cleaning of large surfaces and delicate floors.
Our discs are regularly distributed throughout Italy and abroad, and are capable of meeting even the most specialized requirements.

Crystallizing Discs

Pads for Home Floor Polishers

For polishing smaller floor areas, here’s our complete range of discs for home floor polishers. Pack of 3 steel wool discs fixed on self-adhesive backing. Apply to the felt of any polisher. Remove greasy wax residue without streaking, leaving floors shiny and brilliant. Especially suitable for marble floors. Patented.

For cleaning all floor types. Particularly recommended for balconies and tiles. Moisture-resistant. Applied to the felt of any polisher. Packs of 3.

Steel Wool

Standard steel wool, medium grade Art. 501 INOX, in 6 kg rolls. Width 12 cm, weight 70 gsm. Doesn’t rust. Can be used with crystallizing acids.

Standard steel wool, fine grade Art. 105 DLAC, in 6 kg rolls. Width 7 cm, weight 27 gsm.

Floor Crystallization

Crystallization is a technique that replaces traditional lead-based marble sealing and provides long-lasting brilliant marble finishes.

It’s performed by vaporizing a special chemical product that is then dried and hardened through polishing with a single-brush polisher equipped with a steel wool disc.

For this process, INOX models are recommended. Standard steel wool oxidizes within about 6 hours in the presence of moisture, risking floor staining.

Maximum brilliance is achieved when a final polish is performed with our DUPLOLANA disc, also ideal for maintaining shine.

It further enhances the wax present on floors (marble, wood, terrazzo, etc.) with excellent results.
